Rangers trade Jurickson Profar to Oakland A's, acquire 4 players in return as part of 3-team deal – Dallas News

Update, 11:20 a.m. Friday: It's official. The Rangers have traded infielder Jurickson Profar to the Oakland Athletics as part of a three-team deal that involved the Tampa Bay Rays, the club announced Friday.Also departing the Texas organization is minor-league right-hander Rollie Lacy, acquired from the Chicago Cubs this summer in the Cole Hamels trade, who will be joining the Rays.The Rangers received four players in the deal: left-handed pitchers Kyle Bird and Brock Burke and righty Yoel Espinal from Tampa Bay, and infielder Eli White from Oakland. Additionally, the Rangers will receive international slot compensation from Oakland.
